Information Technology Quisqueyana operates a proprietary data processing system known as Q Enterprise (Qe). Qe was designed and implemented by our in-house IT team . It is an integrated processing system that links the functionality of several business and risk control modules. These include Point of Service data entry and product sales, real-time transaction status, accounting, credit, account receivables management, anti-money laundering compliance and controls, inventory management, customer service, delivery application and analytical reporting. Qe is a unique system within the money transfer industry, which allows Quisqueyana to maintain superior controls and data management compared to its competitors. Qe is built using the highest design and development methodologies and technologies. Qe also employs High Speed Internet technology to connect remote Point of Service terminals with our central database. Transaction files are encrypted, zipped, and password protected. All file communications use SSL technology (128 bytes for encryption) for transmission. Network authentication is required for the users gain access to the network and secure VPN (Virtual Private Network) is required for remote authentication. All sales, including money transfers, are logged through the Qe System, regardless of whether the transaction originates at a branch, agent location, the central office or through our on-line agent, Cashpin.com. The system's integration feature enables Quisqueyana to manage transaction and customer information and control various risks, including agent credit exposure.   The same system administers Quisqueyana's anti-money laundering controls by automatically monitoring transactions for compliance and suspicious patterns.   Similarly, Qe is designed with sufficient flexibility to enable seamless interfacing with a variety of external databases and systems, including those of third-party Pay-in agent networks, Pay-out correspondents and government databases, such as those of the Office of Foreign Asset Control.   These features contribute to Quisqueyana's high degree of productivity and performance as a low-cost, high-quality processor. Qe is a multilingual application used in the United States, Spain, the Caribbean and Canada.   It is the only software in the industry with the ability to store digitalized and biometric information, such as identification cards, documents and fingerprints, as part of a transaction. Quisqueyana's IT team is headed by a systems engineer with an extensive finance background.   He is supported by full-time analysts/programmers and network administrators and support technicians.   Many of our IT employees are certified by Microsoft ,IBM and Brainbench.
